Barcelona president Joan Laporta spoke of his great confidence in coach Xavi Hernandez, despite the team’s 3-3 draw against Inter Milan, bringing the team close to bidding farewell to the Champions League

Laporta stressed his “confidence” in the team and the technical staff, saying: “Trust has not been affected in Xavi and the players, and preparations must be made”
Laporta added that the project led by Xavi “will improve” and “bring great results” in the future, expressing his optimism about the El Clasico meeting
Laporta believes that tomorrow’s match will be an opportunity for the team to show its metal, while he did not rule out making reinforcements in the upcoming winter transfer market
And about the possibility of Lionel Messi returning to Barcelona, he said: “The club will give him something in the future to recognize that he was the best player in its history”
